DetailerMade App v1.0.8 - Enhanced Banking & User Experience

We're excited to announce the release of DetailerMade v1.0.8! This update focuses on bug fixes and improved user experience.

Detailermade App Improvements

  • Payment Setup Warnings - Added clear warning messages for businesses that haven't connected their bank accounts: "You cannot accept deposits or send invoices until you connect your bank" (DA-163)
  • Business Address Management - Implemented local business address storage instead of relying solely on Google Places API for better performance and reliability (DA-155)
  • Better UI Feedback - Converted scaffold messages to modern toast notifications for cleaner, more intuitive user feedback (DA-125)
  • SMS Message Optimization - Combined Twilio messages where possible to reduce message count and improve delivery efficiency (DA-135)
  • Automatic Team Creation - New businesses now automatically get a default team created with the business owner as the initial member, streamlining the setup process (DA-92)
  • Deposit Percentage Updates - Fixed issues with deposit percentage settings not updating properly in business preferences (DA-162)
  • Banner Color Persistence - Resolved issue where banner colors would revert after updating other settings on the preferences page (DA-161)
  • Event Management - Fixed event editing functionality to ensure updates are properly saved (DA-169)
  • SMS Time Zone Accuracy - Fixed job cancellation SMS alerts to display the correct local time instead of UTC time, ensuring customers receive accurate scheduling information (DA-124)
  • Business Profile Address Updates - Resolved errors that occurred when attempting to update business profile addresses, ensuring profile changes save properly (DA-102)
  • Job Quote Totals - Fixed initial job quotes to store complete total amounts instead of just subtotals, eliminating confusing data displays in the user interface (DA-138)

Booking Site Improvements

  • Payment Error Handling - Implemented error alerts and disabled invoice payments when businesses haven't set up payment destinations (DA-164)

Detailermade Website Improvements

  • Enhanced Bank Connect Validation - Improved form validation and user experience
