DetailerMade App Updates - May 2025

We're excited to share our latest round of improvements to the DetailerMade platform! This month's updates focus heavily on enhancing the booking experience and resolving critical issues that improve overall system reliability.

Detailermade App Improvements

• Event Editing - Fixed issues with editing events directly from the calendar page
• Google Maps Integration - Improved map functionality to open directly in the device's maps application
• Job Notes Saving - Resolved issue where notes weren't being saved for manually created jobs
• Team Assignment Persistence - Fixed problem where assigned teams were being lost when quotes were processed
• Adjusted Price Invoice Display - Resolved invoice display issues when job prices have been adjusted to show the correct pricing information
• Additional Fees Transfer - Fixed job updates to properly carry over additional fees (third row cleaning, pet hair removal, stain removal) from original job items
• Personal Phone Update - Fixed visual update issues when changing personal phone numbers in profile settings
• Category Type Creation - Resolved issue where category types were defaulting to "NONE" during creation
• Void Invoice Grouping - Improved organization by grouping all void invoices under a dedicated tab
• Custom Time Editing - Enhanced job editing capabilities to allow modification of both start and end times, providing greater scheduling flexibility beyond standard availability windows
• Event Management - Added the ability to delete events directly from the calendar interface
• Multi-Vehicle Job Display - Improved job card displays to better show service details for multiple vehicles on the same job (e.g., "Interior/Exterior for Vehicle 1, Interior/Exterior for Vehicle 2")
• Color Picker Protection - Added safeguards to prevent users from setting booking colors to white or near-white shades that could affect readability

Booking Site Improvements

• Add-on Display Issues - Resolved problems with add-ons not appearing under their correct category types on the booking site
• Add-on Formatting - Fixed inconsistent indentation of add-ons in the booking interface for better visual consistency
• Confirmation Page Display - Fixed incorrect job date/time display on booking confirmation pages
• Make/Model Dropdown - Improved scrolling behavior in vehicle make/model dropdowns to show more options at the top
• Streamlined Authentication Flow - Updated the add-to-cart modal to prompt users to login or continue as guest immediately when selecting a service, preventing duplicate vehicles and improving the booking flow
• Phone Number Formatting - Fixed phone number display formatting on invoice pages for better readability
